Big Technology and You: 2022 Edition
Nearly two years after our first reader survey, let’s try another one.
The top line: I’m thrilled you’re reading Big Technology! I’m always trying to make the newsletter better, and I’d like to hear your thoughts. This year’s reader survey is short, asks what you’re interested in, and contains some broad demographic questions to help me update our reader stats. I would be thrilled if you’d check it out here:
Some more depth: When I started Big Technology in mid-2020, I wasn’t sure what exactly I’d cover, who would read, and whether this would work. Now, in August 2022, I’m happy to report Big Technology has a (clearer) editorial vision, more than 60,000 subscribers, and it’s working. That said, I know there’s plenty that you — the readers and listeners — can tell me that I don’t know. I’m looking to find out what’s resonating for you, what I’m missing, and what I could do more of.
I’m also looking to build a more complete mental model of who you are, so I know the Big Technology audience better as I write. And since Big Technology is ad-supported, I’m hoping to update our demographic stats. This will help keep Big Technology sustainable as it moves ahead. Also, this survey is completely anonymous.
